Declaration on accessibility

We endeavor to make our website accessible in accordance with the Accessibility Act (BaFG) as amended, implementing the European Directive (EU) 2019/882 on accessibility requirements for
products and services, and the Web Accessibility Act (WZG).

The requirements of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) in the currently valid version 2.2, conformance level AA, were taken into account as far as possible. The requirements of the European standard EN 301 549 V3.2.1 (2021-03) are also decisive.

This website is partially compliant with the requirements of WCAG 2.2, conformance level AA, and the applicable European standard EN 301-549 V3.2.1. The content described below
is currently not accessible.

 

Non-accessible content

1. → Incompatibility with accessibility requirements

  • PDF documents on the website are currently not fully accessible.
  • Some integrated third-party components (e.g. interactive maps, external tools) cannot be fully operated using the keyboard.

2. → Disproportionate burden

  • For economic and organizational reasons, older PDF and Office documents cannot currently be converted completely barrier-free.

3. → Not within the scope of the legislation

  • Content published before June 28, 2025 is not subject to the requirements of the BaFG (Section 2 (3)).
  • Third-party content that was not developed or financed by us (e.g. social media feeds, embedded services) is excluded from the declaration.

The identified barriers are corrected on an ongoing basis as part of technical and editorial development.
